Why did you choose Wilkes?
“I chose Wilkes because my whole family (parents Michael Kovalick, D.O. ’91 and Dr. Kimberly Sarnecki Kovalick ’91 and brother, Michael (a Wilkes junior) has gone here, and I wanted to continue the legacy. It is a great school and it was the right fit for me.”
Where do you live on campus?
“I am a commuter.”
What are your career goals?
“My career goals are to get into medical school and become an orthopedic surgeon.”
How has it been adjusting to college?
“It was not difficult adjusting to college because I have an older brother who has prepared me for the workload and how to use my free time wisely.”
What don’t they tell you about coming to college that they should tell you?
“They do not tell you how much free time one will have. When given this time you have to learn how to manage it. Procrastination is a big problem and it should be stressed to avoid it.”
What’s the best piece of advice that you’ve been given about starting your college journey?
“Do not procrastinate when given an assignment and to study for tests well before exam day to feel most confident in the information.”
