The College of Health and Education’s Mental Health and Wellbeing Forum supports an exploration of distinctions between mental wellness versus mental illness.
This initiative is designed to serve the needs of our area school stakeholders so that they can better nurture students to contribute in positive ways to the population health and wellbeing of our community. Further, the themes of safety, social-emotional learning, empowerment, and advocacy support a broader look at institutional and community integration of trauma-informed principles. Outcomes of the intended workshop series include practical strategies to foster resilience across the developmental continuum in our region.
