Wilkes University Students Participate in Global Student Conference

Three Wilkes University international students participated in the Lehigh Valley Association of Independent Schools Global Student Conference at Cedar Crest College in Allentown on Feb. 23.

The international students created posters and conducted research on global topics. International students were given the opportunity to present their research to an audience and to other students who are studying global topics.

The international students are:

Senior business administration and marketing major Nilab Mominzada of Afghanistan presented her poster and research on “Reducing Demand for Ivory.”
Zaid Al-Daoud, MBA, of Jordan, presented his poster and research on “Jordan Through My Telescope.”
Junior biology major Isabel Lembe, biology of Angola presented her poster and research on “Public Health Care in Angola.”
