Wilkes University Nesbitt School of Pharmacy To Host Medicare Information Sessions

Student-pharmacists from the Wilkes University chapter of the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy will host a series of Medicare information sessions in the month of November. The sessions are designed to help senior citizens learn more about Medicare plans that work for their needs and their budgets.

The sessions will take place at Cook’s Pharmacy, 777 Wyoming Ave., Kingston, Pa., on the following days and times: 

• 8:15 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 3
• 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 11
• 8:15 to 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 12
• 8:15 to 11 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 22

Sessions are free and open to anyone over the age of 65. Seniors are asked to bring a list of their current medications. The annual enrollment period for Medicare ends on Dec. 7.
