Script Your Future is a national consumer education campaign designed to raise awareness about the importance of medication adherence.
Nori Zaccheo, a P3 pharmacy student from Scranton, Pennsylvania, is one member of the Nesbitt School of Pharmacy team who is out in the community encouraging people to “Stick to the Script.”
Why did you decide to study pharmacy?
I had a bad experience with a medication so I wanted to become a resource to prevent the same thing from happening to others.
What do you enjoy most about the Nesbitt School of Pharmacy?
I love how small and close knit it is! I love that the faculty and staff are so accessible and it feels like a big family!
If you weren’t a pharmacy major, what major would you choose and why?
I actually have three prior degrees. One in chemistry and two in forensics, so I’d probably be a chemistry PhD major! I love chemistry.
Why is Script Your Future important to you?
SYF is important to me because it emphasizes the importance of taking your meds on time, which can have huge clinical outcomes, but many patients don’t realize that. I love that I can bring awareness to medication adherence!
What do you enjoy most about Script Your Future?
I love that it gives us the opportunity to expand our reach and go out and interact with the community!
