Maslow Family Graduate Program in Creative Writing Hosts Public Readings in January

The Maslow Family Graduate Program in Creative Writing at Wilkes University will host evening readings in a variety of genres, featuring alumni, faculty, and guest artists. These readings are free and open to the public and will take place during the program’s low-residency program in January, from Sunday, January 4, to Friday, January 9. Readings will include poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, plays, screenplays and more.

Sunday, Jan. 4, 2026, 6:30-7:30 p.m. @ Kirby Salon in Kirby Hall: Alumni Readings by Dawn Leas, Vicki Mayk, Lauren Stahl and Barbara J. Taylor

Monday, Jan. 5, 2026, 6:30-7:30 p.m. @ Kirby Salon in Kirby Hall: Faculty/Alumni/Guest Readings by Mischelle Anthony, Travis Harman, David Hicks and Taylor Polites

Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2026, 6:30-7:30 p.m. @ Kirby Salon in Kirby Hall: Faculty/Alumni Readings by Caroline Hayduk, John Roberts, Tasha Saint-Louis and Marisa de los Santos

Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2026, 4-5 p.m. @ Henry Student Center, 2nd Floor, Jean and Paul Adams Commons: Happy Hour/Faculty Readings by Shanta Lee Honeycutt, Alexis Paige, and Nisha Sharma
