Wilkes University invites students in grades seven through nine to participate in the free STEM Discovery Day on Saturday, Nov. 5 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the state-of-the-art laboratories in Stark Learning Center and Cohen Science Center on the Wilkes campus.
Students will experience six different hands-on lab activities throughout the morning, and join Wilkes faculty, staff and students in experiments that span the STEM fields of chemistry, biology, environmental engineering, earth and environmental science, anatomy, physiology, mathematics, computer science and physics.
Registration for the free STEM Discovery Day is required. Parents and organization leaders must register each child individually and include their grade level. An adult must attend the lab activities with each child or group of children.
