Wilkes University Theatre presents the musical “God Bless You, Mr. Rosewater” via livestream at 8 p.m. on Oct. 2 and at 2 p.m. on Oct. 3 and 4.
Based on Kurt Vonnegut’s 1965 novel of the same name, “God Bless You, Mr. Rosewater” was the first collaboration of the award-winning duo composer Alan Menken and lyricist Howard Ashman. The 1979 musical tells the story of Eliot Rosewater, a millionaire who developed a social conscience and creates a foundation to improve the lives of the citizens of an impoverished Indiana town.
Due to COVID-19, the Wilkes University Theatre will livestream the three performances. Links to the livestream can be found on the Wilkes University Theatre Facebook page.
