Activities and Achievements: Hubiak is the recipient of the Academic Achievement Award for Management recognizing the highest grade-point average in the major. A member of the Honors Program, she was a dean’s list student every semester at Wilkes. While at the University, she was a delegate to the University Scholars Leadership Symposium in Bangkok, Thailand. Her internship experiences included serving as special events intern for Wilkes-Barre City Hall and working at Socialocca, a digital marketing agency where she managed projects, coordinated brand strategy and assisted with marketing.
Noteworthy: Hubiak completed two majors in three years while maintaining a perfect 4.0 grade-point average.
Favorite Part of the Wilkes experience: Hubiak cites the support and opportunities to learn beyond the classroom as her favorite part of the Wilkes experience. Wilkes University not only encourages, but guides students in finding a perfect internship, international experience, or mentor. This has been the perfect compliment to my coursework in the classroom,” she says.
Future plans: “I will continue my job search for a position in business development or marketing. My goal is to have a position where I am developing relationships and internal strategy to strengthen a business’s market position.”
