Things got a little hairy during Clips for Cancer at Wilkes University.
To kick-off breast cancer awareness month, The American Medical Student Association (AMSA) student chapter hosted a hair shaving event benefiting the Medical Oncology Associates Prescription Assistance Fund in Kingston, Pa. Students from Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC), AMSA, commuter council and resident assistants shaved their heads to support the cause.
Students gathered in the Fenner Quadrangle donning make-shift capes to sport a new do. Those who didn’t want to face the clippers could dye their hair a temporary shade of pink.
Other campus groups will also host events to support breast cancer research. You can find out more here.
