It was a big day to make a big difference when more than 250 Wilkes University students, alumni and faculty members participated in the eighth annual Big Event on April 27. Volunteers pitched in to work at 16 sites in Luzerne County, doing everything from painting and grounds cleanup to sorting food and feeding animals.
