Wilkes University Nesbitt School of Pharmacy Opioid Awareness Walk Educates Community

The Wilkes University Nesbitt School of Pharmacy hosted the second annual opioid epidemic awareness walk on Thursday, April 4 to benefit the Wilkes-Barre Fire Department’s Naloxone program. Participants walked from the Wilkes campus to Kirby Park and back to raise awareness for the opioid epidemic. Educational materials and t-shirts were offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
