Two Wilkes University students from the Jay S. Sidhu School of Business and Leadership were awarded the Student Showcase Award at the Accreditation Council for Business Schools & Programs (ACBSP) Conference. Grace Boyle of Andreas, Pa., and Patrice Lonardi of Harrisburg, Pa., presented their research, Excellence in Undergraduate Business Programs through Promotion. It highlights trends in digital promotion of undergraduate business programs. The presentation was selected from among all regional student presentations. The conference was held June 8-11, in Kansas City, Mo.
The theme for the ACBSP Conference 2018 was transforming student success through recruitment, retention, and re-entry.
ACBSP is a leading specialized accreditation body for business education supporting, celebrating, and rewarding teaching excellence. The council accredits business, accounting, and business-related programs at the associate, baccalaureate, master, and doctorate degree levels worldwide. Recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) in 2001 and again in 2011, ACBSP was the first to offer specialized business accreditation at all degree levels.
