On April 27, Wilkes University alumnus and professor of psychology Carl Charnetski was honored by S.A.F.E. Inc., with the Angel of Autism Pioneer award. The ceremony took place at River Grille, Wilkes-Barre. S.A.F.E., Inc. is a non-profit organization supporting families affected by Autism Spectrum Disorders. They provide members, families, caretakers and professionals with support and information pertaining to the latest interventions and educational practices, therapies and available programs for individuals with ASD.
