SUMMARY:Spring Dance Concert Saturday April 25th
DESCRIPTION:Join us on April 25 at 7:00 PM for the Spring Dance Concert\, an engaging evening that showcases a dynamic blend of classical ballet\, jazz\, tap\, musical theatre\, and contemporary dance. The program features works rooted in tradition\, including selections from Swan Lake and the jazz-driven Dancin’ Man\, highlighting the iconic choreography of Bob Fosse\, alongside vibrant pieces such as Born This Way and Doves Cry. A highlight of the concert is the work of student choreographers\, including Nothing Seems to Change by Lexi Wesnak\, Closure by Charley Cain\, and The Cycle by Maddie Meier. All works in the concert are developed in Spring semester dance courses\, reflecting a process-driven approach that brings choreography from the studio to the stage.

SUMMARY:Chamber Orchestra Concert
DESCRIPTION:Step into a “Rags to Riches” musical adventure that leaps from the rhythmic spark of ragtime to the lush sweep of Tchaikovsky’s ballet world. Joplin’s The Cascades\, Handy’s soulful Memphis Blues\, and the regionally resonant Black Diamond Rag\, a nod to our area’s proud anthracite coal heritage\, bring color\, character\, and local spirit to the program. Rossini’s sparkling Il signor Bruschino Overture and Dvořák’s fiery Slavonic Dances drive the evening with wit\, warmth\, and rhythmic momentum. The night ends in pure orchestral glamour with the Waltz from Sleeping Beauty\, a finale that shimmers with fairy‑tale elegance.
