Wilkes University will award 386 bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees when it holds its winter commencement ceremony on Sunday, Jan. 20. The event will be held at 1 p.m. in the Arnaud C. Marts Center, 274 South Franklin St. in Wilkes-Barre.
The commencement address will be delivered by Paul Riggs, dean of the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences at the University. Jayson Pope, assistant principal of Delaware Valley High School, will be the student speaker. Pope is receiving his Doctor of Education degree at the ceremony.
