About the Quilt
The Quilt was handmade in 2009 by members of the Northeast Regional AIDS Coalition, chaired by Melissa Davis, formerly of the United Way of Wyoming Valley. Volunteers from multiple agencies who provide HIV/AIDS testing, treatment, and case management as well as family members of those memorialized gathered weekly at the American Red Cross building to create the quilt. In less than two months, the project was completed and displayed for World AIDS Day at Luzerne County Community College.
Light refreshments with wine/beer bar. Free and open to the public.
