The Winter 2025/Spring 2026 issue of Wilkes magazine weaves together Wilkes University’s accomplishments, student and alumni success stories, innovative programs, giving back, milestones and more, demonstrating how the University is actively turning vision into reality. 

In this edition, learn more about: 

  • Giving Back: Dr. Bing K. Wong – Wilkes showed its gratitude for the largest
  • individual donation in University history with the naming of the Dr. Bing K. Wong College of Arts and Sciences, but Wong’s legacy lies in his life-long impact on students and faculty.
  • Words with Friends – Once upon a time, Wilkes launched a low-residency creative writing program. Twenty years later, the story endures through mentoring, community and alumni success that lives on long after the last words have been set down on the page.
  • Cohen Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation – This bold new space at Wilkes gives students room to explore entrepreneurial ideas. Coupled with resources and mentorship, the goal is to create the next generation of business leaders while building the region’s economic future.
