Wilkes University’s Division of Performing Arts is excited to present its winter concert series from Nov. 24 through Dec. 7, 2024 at the Dorothy Dickson Darte Center for the Performing Arts and St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church. The concerts, which showcase vocal, orchestral and band performances, are free and open to the public.
Audiences can expect seasonal delights from new composers, classic pieces and re-imagined themes and songs presented by talented students and community members.
“The students have worked hard to understand and represent these texts,” said Joshua Harper, assistant professor of choral conducting and applied voice. “Collectively, our concerts span periods from 1500 to the present day and feature different composers, so audiences will be enriched and uplifted while supporting these student performances.”
