Wilkes University is hosting a visit from Sept. 25-28 by senior officials representing IFARHU, the Republic of Panama’s financial aid agency. Through the University’s partnership with IFARHU, 50 Panamanian students are now studying for their undergraduate degrees at Wilkes. The three officials visiting campus this week are Bernardo Meneses, director general, Ileana Molo, secretary general, and Edgar Zachrisson, advisor to the director general. The visit includes formal introductions to Wilkes Interim President Paul Adams, Interim Provost Terese Wignot and other University leadership, introductions to Wilkes’ campus and its academic offerings and updates about the current collaboration between Wilkes and IFARHU.
