Holistic treatment of patients was the topic of discussion during the Pennsylvania Pain and Addiction Summit on April 12. The event was held at Mohegan Sun Pocono and featured panel discussions with medical, legal and law enforcement professionals who discussed the current state of the opioid crisis, shared methodology and inter-professional approaches to deal with critical issues and identified opportunities to approach the treatment of pain and substance abuse.
